FIN3236B INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FINANCE

Students taking this elective module will learn the nature and purposes of financial management in the international context. They will gain skills on international finance, finance function in global business scenario, international monetary systems, international financial markets and instruments, Balance of Payments, international cost of capital and international investment. Students will discover how Multi National companies use banks, markets such as the Eurobonds and currency option markets, and techniques such as currency swaps and hybrid bond structures. The aim is to make students understand the tools and techniques that international financial managers use.
