Intraoperative Nursing

The student will use the knowledge gained in previous courses such as assessment and planning considerations, for management of patients in the intra operative phase. During this module the roles of the perioperative nurse are explored in detail. In addition, the nurse will become proficient in the intra operative management of surgical patients undergoing a variety of surgical interventions.
