Enrolment options
- Identify methods of regulating legal relationships containing a foreign element, in the absence of a uniform substantive law and in the presence of concurrent and juxtaposed national legal systems i.e. to identify methods of regulating the conflict of laws, the conflict of jurisdiction, methods of renvoi, etc.
- Determine the applicable law to cases containing a foreign element depending on the field of law:
- under family law: personal status, marriage, divorce, international adoption, etc.;
- under property law: real status;
- under tort law: civil liability;
- under the law of contracts: obligations, contractual relationships, etc.;
- under the law of successions: representation and distribution of property.
- Understand the procedures for execution of foreign judgments and authentic acts.
