The module aims to equip the learners with basic principles in various environmental protocols regulations, standardization, inspection and enforcement mechanisms of pollution control. A description of Environmental Impact Assessment, theories of risk, project-based risk management, environmental management in an organization, environmental risk considerations in policy making, risk communication and sources of legal regulation of environmental problems.
