This
course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental
principles in development economics, encompassing factors influencing national
income, theories of money demand and supply, and key concepts in economic
development. Through a combination of lectures, practical classes, structured
exercises, and self-directed study, students will develop cognitive skills to
analyze quantitative problems, evaluate economic theories and policies
critically, and interpret economic data to assess development indicators and
trends. Students will emerge with a deep understanding of economic
development theories, analytical proficiency, and ethical awareness necessary
for careers in economic research, policy analysis, and international
development organizations, while also cultivating a global citizenship
