Brief description of aims and contents 

this module will equip prospective local government workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage workers in the workplace. The module examines the role of the human resources professional as a strategic partner in managing organization people. Key functions such recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, retention, compensation, and labour relations are examined. Best practices of employers of choice are considered.
