Brief description of aims and content

This module is intended to teach the state of security in Africa from pre-colonial times up to contemporary periods. While it focuses on security, it includes also issues related to war, politics, and everyday life. Though related to Africa, it looks at theories at global level, and gives a substantial emphasis to Rwanda.
