Brief description of aims and content

This module establishes the foundation for the genocide studies program in that it helps students to gain a thorough understanding of the causes and theories of different types of human rights violations, with an emphasis on mass violence (e.g., ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity) and extreme violence (eg., genocide).
