SSC 2111: Demography and Analytical Statistics

This module will give students an understanding of the concepts and methods used in the study of population.  It will cover the basics of demographic structure: mortality, fertility, nuptuality, and migration, as well as discuss the characteristics of demographic change in East and Central Africa, America, Europe and the rest of the world (both historical and current) and address questions of economic and social development connected to population.
