This part of the module focuses on advanced academic reading and advanced academic writing. It will therefore deal with critical reading and thinking, writing techniques like avoiding plagiarism by   summarizing, paraphrasing, synthesizing, citing sources and referencing, rhetorical functions in academic writing. Oral presentations will also be focused on.
