Internal Medicine I covers the study, diagnosis, and treatment of complex adult diseases. It focuses on infectious diseases, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and immuno-rheumatological illnesses. Doctors learn how these systems work and how they affect the whole body. The module is a core, non-elective component of the programme, with no prerequisite or co-requisite modules and no prohibited combinations.
