PH80442: Analytical Mechanics and Special Relativity (ODeL)

This module aims to develop advanced conceptual and problem-solving competence in analytical mechanics and special relativity and to help you connect these topics to modern physics practice and physics education. Through online learning activities, you will learn to formulate dynamics using Lagrangian and Hamiltonian methods, analyze motion in inertial frames, and apply the principles of special relativity to kinematics and dynamics. You will also design and evaluate teaching strategies and problem-based learning tasks so that you can confidently teach these topics in secondary schools.
