SSE1142: Evolution of natural and human Environment of Rwanda

This module aims to give you knowledge of Rwanda, its natural and human environment, together with its socio-economic aspects and history. This course will cover: Geographical location of Rwanda, natural environment (rocks, landscapes, climate, soil, flora and fauna), human environment (population, settlement and urbanization), present and past socio-economic activities (evolution of sectors of activities, rural and urban development, transport, current issues in the economic development). The module also deals with civics and governance of Rwanda, as well as hygiene and sanitation.
