Botanical Landscape Design
Semester II

This module will introduce students to the purpose and potential of botanic gardens, by providing students an opportunity to apply fundamental knowledge of botany and horticulture/soils to botanic garden design and management. Botanic gardens can collect, display and maintain a diversity of plants for conservation, education and research, for example: endangered plant species such as orchids or endemic plant species from the region, heirloom vegetable seeds such as traditional bean crops no longer common, or traditional medicinal plants for healing.
