PE80342: Theories of Personality

This module equips students with knowledge and skills related to personality theories. It introduces them to the concept, features, and determinants of personality as well as its importance in educational psychology. The module tackles personality approaches including Freud’s psychoanalysis, Jung’s analytical psychology, Adler’s individual psychology, Erikson’s identity theory, type personality approach, genetic approach, behavioral and socio-cognitive approaches. The methods of personality assessment are also discussed.
