VM80483: Veterinary Parasitology

This module aims at (1) equipping the learners with sufficient knowledge about vectors and parasites (arthropods, helminths, and protozoans) of veterinary importance; (2) enabling the learners to understand the pathogenesis, immunology, and epidemiology of parasitic diseases and their public health aspects; (3) enabling the learners to diagnose, treat and control animal parasitic diseases and (4) giving them the ability to conduct basic parasitology research
