Dear Students,

This module  aims at introducing to you different theories of language acquisition and second language learning/teaching and mainly language teaching methods/approaches. It also presents an overview of micro-teaching and its relevance to teacher trainees. Through this part you will also explore how to teach different language skills and other language components as well. We shall have a look at resources in language teaching, testing and assessment in language teaching etc.
