SOW4112: Social Work Intervention and Globalisation

In reference to the knowledge and skills acquired so far, this module seeks to explore and understand the theories, approaches and suitable models to be referred to throughout the social work intervention in the international context. The definitions respectively of 'international social work' and 'globalisation' as well as the theoretical orientation centred on the 'person-in-evironment' (PIE) constitute the core of the module flow.  Overall, the module intends to help students be knowledgeable and skillful so that they can act as global citizens.
