Pediatric Nursing

The purpose of this module is to examine the concepts of health promotion and disease prevention with emphasis on community health, nutrition, education, adherence to immunization policies, and breastfeeding. Critical analysis of the theories of health promotion and the sociocultural and environmental factors that impact health status will be discussed. The planning, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion programs will be reviewed and applied to the context of Rwanda.
