Section outline

1. Aim

The aim of this unit is to help you to have practical sessions on computer navigation, computer system, MS Office, the use of collaborative tools.
ICT fundamentals, Computer system, computer navigation, MS Office and collaborative tools.

2. Intended Learning outcomes

At the end of this unit, you will be able to:

1.Explore and customize the desktop, taskbar and start menu.
2.Convert from one base to another and convert form one unit of storage capacity into another.
3.Use Microsoft Office word confidently
4.Access available search engines and practice using them

3 Time duration of this unit

Dear students this unit will be covered within two weeks form, 24 August to 30 August plz make sure you meet the deadline for each E-tivity within this unit.

4. Learning resources

Different types of resources will be avail to you, such as: Videos, files (ppt and pdf) and link to websites, I will give clarifications so that you are able to go for research of more details. You are requested to read carefully instructions under each E-tivity.
