Biology

The module aims to develop students' understanding of the genetic inheritance and evidences of evolution. The content includes Mendelian laws of heredity, supplements to Mendelian laws, structure of nucleic acids and mechanisms of genetic information flow from DNA to proteins, mutations, Hardy-Weinberg law of equilibrium and its applications, and theories as well as evidences of evolution.
