The topics defines terminologies, classifies forest products: forest and tree based goods and services partitioned into wood based goods/products, non-timber forest products/goods, forest ecosystem functions/services. A list of the products and goods is provides and discussed. Forest products and services are further described as provisioning, regulating and supporting. Illustrations, examples and practical applicability of these are made to general and Rwandan contexts.
