Completion requirements
Unit one focus on the statics part of the course.
It outline the force, the force system, the resultant force, the equilibrium of particle and the general equilibrium of bodies, the truss analysis with both joints and sections methods, the properties of areas (centroid or centre of gravity, first/statical moment of area, second moment of area or moment of inertia, section modulus and radius of gyration) and friction.
