2. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I wish to sincerely extend my special appreciation to the people who have played a major role in the development of the English manuals for teachers. It would not have been successfully developed without the participation of a number of different education stakeholders. For this, I would like to express my deep gratitude.
My thanks first go to the staff of the Rwanda Basic Education Board who were involved in the planning, writing and review of the manual. I wish to extend my appreciation to the writing team for their valuable efforts during the development of the manuals. I also wish to acknowledge the contribution of teachers who supported Rwanda Basic Education Board in developing the manuals and the University of Rwanda lecturers for proofreading, reviewing and editing the manuals.
