Activity:

In a secondary school classroom, Ms. Uwase noticed that many students were struggling to understand complex science concepts despite reviewing their notes regularly. She introduced a new routine: before every topic, students were asked to write down what they already knew; during the lesson, they paused to ask themselves questions about the content; and after the lesson, they reflected on what worked well and what did not. One student, Mutesi, realized she was only memorizing facts without understanding them. She began using mind maps and summarizing information in her own words. Over time, her performance improved significantly.
