  • A system of national accounts (SNA) is introduced, with its main components (Supply-Use Table ”SUT” and Integrated Economic Accounts ”IEA”), concepts, assumptions, and its underlying economic model. It illustrates how to use a conventional SNA in the analysis of policy issues. A satellite account (SA) is described that provides a data framework for the analysis of cross-sector policies. With numerical examples, the lecture portrays the way to integrate environmental, socio-economic and tourism satellite accounts into a conventional SNA and to conduct policy analysis using these accounts.
