1 Aim of the unit

The aims of this unit is to provide essential knowledge, and skills and develop attitude in computer fundamentals.
This unit is designed to cover:
1.Key concept of computing
2.Distinguish between and understanding of the functionality of different components of computer.

2 Intended learning outcome

At the end of this unit, you will be able to:

Explain ICT related concepts and terms with their appropriate use in daily life.

Describe the benefits and effectiveness of different ICT tools.

Identify different parts, functions and characteristics of computer

Explain data representation, storage and managements of files

3 Time duration of this unit

Dear students this unit will be covered within two weeks form, 24 August to 30 August plz make sure you meet the deadline for each E-tivity within this unit.

4. Learning resources

Different types of resources will be avail to you, such as: Videos, files (ppt and pdf) and link to websites, I will give clarifications so that you are able to go for research of more details. You are requested to read carefully instructions under each E-tivity.

  3.Read what other students posted and comment on at least three works of your classmates.
  
  4. Review your work and send the final work to your e-moderator' s email for assessment by Sunday in the week this unit is taught.
