General Introduction

In this module, we shall explain the various concepts and practices involved in child friendly schools. The child friendly school concept is based on the principle that quality educational strategies leading to effective learning and teaching in Rwandan schools, ought to take into consideration adjustments in both school and the community environments. Accordingly, key quality indicators within which the child friendly schools are expected to effect innovative changes (in the school curricular and approaches), that involve parents and the whole community have been established.
