
Introduction
Like all other countries all over the world, Rwanda is striving to create an
entrepreneurial population at all levels it can. It is in this regard that this unit
will equip you with the competences to make you behave creatively towards
solving society problems. Building on the entrepreneurship knowledge
and skills acquired in Ordinary level, this unit will enable you to explain
entrepreneurship, describe the stages of entrepreneurship, and become a
creative, inventive and innovative person. In the long run, this unit will enable
you use your creative thinking to solve community problems.
This module introduces you to database systems and their importance in healthcare. Over eight hours, you will learn what a database is, how it works, key database terms, and how to apply data types in Microsoft Access, all leading to designing a real Patient Registration Database for a Rwandan district hospital. It was re-designed to meet ODeL standards by two Master's students who are:

Advanced Spreadsheet I for Senior Four teaches students how to organize, analyze, and present data using spreadsheets. It covers conditional formatting, chart creation and editing, data organization through filtering and sorting, and exporting files to PDF or other formats, helping learners develop practical skills for effective and professional data management.

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of multimedia, including text, images, audio, video and animation. Learners will explore how these elements are combined to create engaging digital content such as movies, presentations, and interactive media.
Students also will understand the basic principles of multimedia design and development, as well as its practical applications in real-world contexts.
Portable devices are part of everyday life at home, school, hospitals, and workplaces. Teachers use laptops, doctors use smartphones, and students use tablets for learning and research. These devices have changed how people live, work, and learn.
In this unit, you will learn about different portable devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, PDAs, and cell phones. You will explore their features, parts, uses, and how they differ from one another. You will also study laptop components, compare laptops with desktop computers, and learn about smartphone and tablet operating systems and services.
This online module redesigns S1 ICT Unit 8 (Network and Internet Fundamentals) for Open and Distance eLearning (ODeL). The unit covers basic computer network concepts, internet use, search engines, and email through interactive videos, forums, and mobile-supported learning tools, designed to support learners with varied internet access.
