Transport Project Management
Semester 2

The Transport Project Management module provides students with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, manage, and deliver transportation infrastructure projects effectively. The course covers the full project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, design coordination, procurement, construction management, monitoring, and evaluation.

Students learn how to apply project management principles to transportation systems such as highways, railways, airports, ports, and urban mobility projects. Emphasis is placed on cost estimation, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder engagement, environmental and social impact considerations, and quality assurance in transport projects.

The module also introduces modern project management tools and techniques used in the transport sector to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to required standards. Case studies and practical exercises help students understand real-world challenges in managing transport infrastructure projects.
