The aim of this module is to provide to the students of year one with the basic in computer programming skills and knowledge that assist them to develop/write a program for different projects/request. And the module will introduces the fundamental concepts of computer programming using C language.
This module builds on the knowledge students have already acquired in the module of Computer Essentials (CS80161) that imparts the essential of ICT uses as well as provide a general understanding of both computer hardware and software. The ability to write the computer program in any language is essential for those who want to develop applications. This course provides a solid foundation on the use of C language that enables students to build knowledge in writing a program by working in various compilers. And the intended outcomes are: Understand the principals of modular programming and programming paradigm as well as translating solution into flowchart and or pseudo code.
