This module provides students with general knowledge and skills in civic education, integrity principles and practices, human rights, and education for peace. The module aims to equip students with the basic notions of civic education that are meant to contribute to their transformation into patriotic and responsible citizens, with the mechanisms for promoting peace and defusing conflict.

The module aims to equip students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in fish taxonomy, anatomy, and physiology. This baseline understanding enables a deeper appreciation of fisheries dynamics within the focused fields of fisheries and aquaculture management.
