Innovative Teaching Methods for Mathematics and SET

This module intends to expose trainees to the content related to the innovative teaching methods for effective teaching and learning of Mathematics and SET in upper primary level. The content includes concepts of the competence-based curriculum (CBC), key concepts in mathematics and science education, aspects for mathematics and science instruction to implement a 5Es instructional model, online teaching and learning mathematics and science, gender and inclusiveness in mathematics and science, and assessment. The selection of the aforementioned was to equip teachers with knowledge and skills for effective implementation of the CBC to improve learners' learning outcomes.
