This module is designed for health professionals who are responsible for disease surveillance or investigation. It consists of study of the concepts, principles, and methods generally useful in the surveillance and investigation of health-related states or events.

Masters in Field Epidemiology & Laboratory Training Program

The overall aim of the reproductive health course which is a three-credit (30 hours) course unit, is to equip health professionals with necessary skills for planning, management, and evaluation of reproductive health services in order to improve women’s reproductive and sexual health issues in Rwanda and other countries. To achieve this purpose, the class will explore the components of sexual and reproductive health; areas of SRH disagreements; trends in sexual and reproductive health; reproductive health indicators; overview of maternal mortality and its related causes, and how to accelerate the global response based on current signs of progress.
