Welcome to Teaching Practicum Module online
This module is designed to assist students in applying innovative methods of teaching and evaluation that promote active and independent learners. The focus throughout this module is on the study and application of teaching and evaluation methods appropriate to the teaching/learning process in the classroom, clinical and laboratory settings.
In the clinical and laboratory setting, emphasis is placed on application of knowledge, critical thinking and reflective practice in guiding students as they use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions to provide preventative, curative, supportive and restorative care for individuals, families and communities.
